By default information about who is responsible for a domain is made publicly available via a Whois database to enable resolution of technical problems and to permit enforcement of consumer protection, and other laws. However you can decide to opt out of having your details made publicly available.
For all .uk domains:
You may optionally decide not to have your details published if the domain is for personal use and not for business use. During the registration process you will be given this option. If you have already registered your .uk domain and have now decided that you want to have your details removed from the Whois, please create a support ticket and we arrange for this to happen.
For all other domains:
You can only choose to have your details removed after the registration process; this can be done for both personal and business domains and will be subject to a small charge. Please contact us if you require this service.
