Only entities residing in or belonging to a European Union member state can register a .it domain.
The administrative contact must be from the same entity applying for the domain.
All DNS zones must be pre-configured beforehand.
The following information is required for each registration:
For domains where the registrant is an individual:
- Place and date of birth of registrant
- Residential address of registrant
- Taxpayer code (codice fiscale) of registrant (if registrant is located in an EU country that does not assign a Tax ID number, then provide an alternative personal identifying number e.g. passport, driver
